5 red peppers
Half a kilo of minced meat
200 g grated İçim Kashar Cheese
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
4 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 egg
Black Pepper
Cumin
Salt
For frying
Oil
For the sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tomatoes
Thyme
Olive Oil
Remove the seeds from the red peppers, wash them and cut them in half vertically. Cut the divided peppers into half-moons. Grate the onion and squeeze the juice. Put the parsley, minced meat, spices, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg and onion in a bowl and knead well. Cut walnut-sized pieces from the mortar and roll them in the palm of your hand.
Take the oil in a pan and heat it. Then cook the meatballs. Fry the red peppers that you cut into half moons like meatballs. Put the olive oil in another pan. Grate the tomatoes, add to the pan. Add the tomato paste and get a thick sauce. Finally, add the thyme and remove the sauce from the heat. Place the meatballs and red peppers on a serving plate and pour the sauce over them.
Finally, serve with a drizzle of İçim Cheddar Cheese. Bon Appetit!
