4 thick pieces of İçim String Cheese
1 egg, beaten
50 g grated tomatoes
2 slices of stale bread
1 teaspoon of İçim Butter
Preheat the oven to 220°C. In a frying pan, melt the İçim Butter over medium heat. Cut the bread into pieces and pass it through the food processor a few short times. Add to the pan and fry for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove the bread from the pan and leave it in a bowl. Cut İçim String Cheeses into thick slices of 3 cm each. Crack the egg into a large bowl and whisk it.
Dip the cheese first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. Make sure that the slices are completely covered with crumbs. Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for about 4 minutes. When the cheese becomes soft and approaches golden, remove it from the oven. Serve with tomato sauce on the side.
