4 yellow apples
Juice of half a lemon
1 liter of sunflower oil
powdered sugar
For the dough
2 eggs, yolks and whites separated
Half a lemon zest
100 g plain flour
5 tbsp İçim Milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
Peel, core and cut the apples into rings. Spread in a large metal-free container. Drizzle lemon juice over them to prevent them from turning brown. To make the dough, mix the pinch of salt, egg yolk and lemon zest in a bowl until you get a thick consistency. Slowly add the flour, followed by the İçim Milk and baking powder. In another clean bowl, whisk the egg whites to a thick consistency. Slowly add to the other mixture. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees. Put the oil in a wide and deep saucepan on the fire. Quickly dip the apples in the batter and drop them into the oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes and turn once when they are bubbling until golden. Using a slotted spoon, remove the apples on a paper towel and let rest. Repeat the process for all the apples. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm.
